Quezon City - NIA MIMAROPA Acting Regional Manager Ronilio M. Cervantes attends the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Department of Justice (DOJ) Reformation Initiative for Sustainable Environment for Food Security Project Meeting at Diliman, Quezon City on August 9, 2023. The project, which will be piloted in Iwahig Penal Colony and Prison Farms in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, supports a sustainable food environment amidst food security challenges, while also undertaking the reformation of those deprived of liberty through BuCor's labor and Livelihood Program. Said meeting aims to discuss the necessary arrangements and other matters relative to the upcoming field visit to the proposed project site in Palawan on August 14, 2023.
Present also during the meeting are the MIMAROPA Regional Directors and Heads of agencies for convergence project at Iwahig and other DA attached agencies.
