With the current public health emergency in the country, NIA MIMAROPA ensures to provide irrigation services to secure food sufficiency particularly in the region as irrigation is a vital input in agriculture and food production.
Pangobilian Irrigator’s Association (IA) of Palawan Irrigation Management Office (PIMO) utilizes NIA subsidy coming from canal clearing activities to distribute food packs for 200 farmers affected by Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the municipality of Brooke’s Pt., Palawan.

Ragodon undertakes resumption of irrigation construction through the Contractors’ Forum conducted at Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. This is conducted before deployment of NIA and contractors’ personnel in the field.
