NIA MIMAROPA strengthens safety protocols in office premises

Oriental Mindoro - Due to the surge of COVID-19 cases in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, the city is placed under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) from August 13-26, 2020 pursuant to NTF Memorandum Circular No. 2 s. 2020 and RIATF Resolution No. 12 s. 2020. NIA MIMAROPA, headed by Regional Manager William P. Ragodon, immediately implemented alternate working arrangement for its employees including those of Mindoro Oriental-Marinduque-Romblon Irrigation Management Office (MOMARO IMO).

With this, NIA MIMAROPA strengthens the safety protocols in the office premises by installing automatic sanitizer dispenser in the entrance and biometric systems area. This is to ensure the safety of the Skeletal Workforce reporting for office.

This is an additional precautionary measure aside from the strict implementation of wearing of facemasks and face shield, social distancing, establishment of foot bath and vehicle tire bath and daily monitoring of temperature. Also, pursuant to NIA Memorandum Circular No. 96 s. 2020, all NIA employees and visitors/guests shall accomplish the daily health disclosure checklist. NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office also uses the service vehicles of the agency to transport the Skeletal Workforce. Once the MECQ status is lifted, NIA MIMAROPA Regional Office will return to its regular operating hours.

NIA MIMAROPA assures that the delivery of irrigation services is not hampered despite the current health emergency situation and restrictions brought by COVID-19 pandemic. #Aileen Vernice G. Bahia, NIA MIMAROPA
